Your tax advisor says: send me the revenue as a CSV in DATEV format. You open Excel. And you don't know which columns come in what order. Import errors. Follow-ups. Delays. This template removes the guessing.

How the template works

The CSV has exactly the ten columns DATEV needs. So the import runs without errors. Voucher date in German format. Voucher number. Amount with a comma instead of a dot. Debit or credit flag. Account and contra account under SKR 03. VAT rate. Booking text. And two cost centers. The cost centers are optional for DATEV. But valuable for Mietwagen. Use one for the vehicle and one for the driver. So you can later break everything down by car and driver.

What Fahrly does for you

The template is fine for a single booking. With 500 rides per month, manual entry isn't an option. Fahrly's Finance module builds the DATEV file automatically. All Uber and Bolt rides. All invoices to direct customers. All fuel receipts. All workshop and supplier bills. At month-end, you download one CSV. Your tax advisor imports it without changes.

Template for the first booking. Automation for daily work. Your tax advisor gets a clean file every month with no follow-up. You skip the data entry. Together, that makes your year-end accounts faster and cheaper.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

Why a special CSV template for DATEV?

DATEV imports CSV files. But only with this column structure. And in German format with a comma instead of a dot. Anyone using the wrong order or US format needs post-processing by the tax advisor. That costs time and money.

What is SKR 03?

SKR 03 is the standard chart of accounts for trade and industry in Germany. It's the most common one for Mietwagen. SKR 04 is for balance sheets under international rules. Ask your tax advisor which SKR you use. Usually it's SKR 03.

What goes into the two cost centers?

Into the first: the vehicle's code. So you see revenue and cost per car. Into the second: the driver's code. So you can break it down by driver. Both are optional for DATEV. But worth gold for your analysis. Sorting by driver or car is one click.
