Before you lease a new Mietwagen, you should know one number. How much revenue does one car make per month? And per year? This calculator shows the realistic size. Before you sign the contract. Before you take a loan.

How the calculator works

The calculator needs three numbers. Rides per day. Average fare. Working days per week. From that it calculates daily, weekly, monthly and yearly revenue. Gross and net. Net is the amount after the Uber or Bolt fee. For the month it multiplies by 4.33. That's 52 weeks divided by 12 months. Otherwise the forecast would be too low.

What Fahrly does for you

Forecasts are guesses. Reality is different. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Fahrly's Business Intelligence module (your number overview) shows the real figures for every car. Revenue per week and month. Utilisation. Trends over the last three and twelve months. So you see which car beats your forecast and which doesn't. With the Fleet Management module (vehicle admin), you also see the real margin per car. So you know if a new car is worth it. Or if it's better to replace the weakest.

Forecasts are the start. The real numbers come from Fahrly.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

How many rides per day are realistic?

An active driver in an 8 to 10 hour shift usually does 8 to 14 rides. In Berlin, Hamburg or Munich, 10 to 12 is normal. In smaller cities, less. Use an honest average. Not your best day.

Why times 4.33 instead of times 4 for a month?

A month has 4.33 weeks on average. That's 52 weeks divided by 12 months. If you use 4, you lose almost a month of revenue per year in the forecast. 4.33 is the clean number.

What about vacation, illness and workshop?

For an honest yearly forecast, add 8 to 12 percent downtime. That's vacation, holidays, workshop, illness. The calculator shows the gross figure. For real revenue, take off about 10 percent.
