A BOKraft inspection is not a nightmare if you are prepared. It is exactly that if you are not. BOKraft is the German ordinance for running vehicles in passenger transport. City authorities or police check by surprise. In the car. At your office. Or by the roadside. This checklist shows you what to have ready in each of the three cases.
How the checklist works

›What is a BOKraft check?
BOKraft is the German rule for running vehicles in passenger transport. City authorities check by surprise or because of a specific reason. The check can happen at your office, at the car, or during a road stop.
›How often are checks?
There is no fixed schedule. How often depends on the city and authority. In Berlin and Munich checks are common. In smaller cities rare. After a complaint or an accident, a check is almost certain. If you document things cleanly, you have little to fear.
›What happens if something is missing?
Warning 25 to 75 euros. Fine up to 2,500 euros. Depending on how serious. Systematic violations of return duty, Konzession or working time can lead to loss of Konzession. Most common issues: missing license-check documents. Unclear return duty. Old Konzession certificate.
